Kinsip Barrel Aged Maple Syrup is right what it says on the bottle. Maple syrup aged in whisky barrels. From Kinsip. And it does to maple syrup pretty much what you’d expect, imparting oak cask & whisky flavours, not notes or hints. Great on pancakes, in coffee and on ice cream, perfect for holiday breakfasts. Here’s what we thought:
Gill – very very nice, smooth, like it a lot
Brenna – caramely, very caramel, no burnt
Devin – whisky very present, sort of bourbon
Simon – lots of cask but great in coffee, adds whisky bite & sweet
