IMG_0110YAY CHRISTMAS BEERS! YAY FIVE BEERS! SOrry! sorry for shouting!

This is Mill Street Brewery‘s Barley Wine Batch #13-331-4! This will be a short review because we’ve already talked about who Mill Street Brewery are and what a barley wine is. This is both of those things so click those links if you want to know more. Here’s what we thought:

smell
Goran – lager, slight sweet
Simon – sweet, very slight yeast, apple
Ryan – bock, wet wood, maple

taste
Goran – apricot sweet completely trumped by swampy bitterness
Simon – maple, vegetable, very slight wood
Ryan – super thick, super bitter

Mill Street Brewery Barley Wine – 11.2% 500ml – $13.95 – Ontario

Try it? If someone else is buying. Buy it? Not at the price.
