Nothing quite like attaching a national poet‘s name to your product to drag in the ex-pat dollars and drunk patriots’ pounds… Pretty fucking morose when you realize he drank himself to death. It’s like Columbine Brand Bullets. Or Michael Hutchinson Glad Kitchen Catchers. Or Michael Jackson Chewable Sedatives. If it makes you feel any better, at least this doesn’t show up in the first page of results on Google when searching for Robert Burns.
This is a blend from the same distillers as The Arran Malt, but the pedigree is not quite there. I love Islands scotches, and this one shows some promise but this one… just isn’t it.
