Five Hundred! The 500th Article (That Boutique-y Whisky Company/Drinks By The Dram Advent/Holiday Calendar Teaser)

Here at iScotch we’d like to wish you all a very happy holidays, merry Christmas, festive Kwanzaa, chappy Chanukah, feisty Festivus or an unrelenting Yule. Oh yeah and a happy drunken New Year’s.

This is the last Saturday in December, the last Saturday of 2019, indeed the last Saturday of the decade, and it marks our 500th article – this one! Not a review, more of a look back and a teaser for the next year or so.

We’ve been having a lot of fun, and the once-weekly schedule means we’ve got the bottles and basis for articles months in advance. And thanks to this purchase (at 30% off), we just added another six months of content.

That’s right, I managed to get my hands on the Boutique-y Whisky Company/Drinks By The Dram Advent Holiday Calendar, one of 3 left at the LCBO when I finally noticed it on the website. And that’s 24 little bottles, enough for two sips, for 24 little reviews over the next… I dunno, maybe two years? We’re not going to focus on these, just add them to our regular tasting sessions and bring them to you guys as they’re available.
