
It recently being St Paddy’s day, you’ll have to put up with one or two more Irish Whiskey reviews. I know Dan is a big fan of the lightness and smoothness of the Irish dram, and my appreciation doesn’t look to ebb anytime soon. PS The D.E.W. is Tullamore D.E.W. is the distiller’s initials.

dan – sulphur
simon – caramel, cotton candy
goran – vanilla, cherry
ryan – rockets
neat
dan – light on tongue, oaky, dry
simon – much oak, burn
goran – round, sweet
ryan – good mouthfeel, less sweet
splash
dan – not very sweet, strictly oak
simon – fall flavours, much lighter
goran – honey & milk texture, subtle creamy
ryan – trailing bitterness
