3rd round, Whisky Cafe. Time to get weird. We tried the Nikka Taketsuru 12y Pure Malt Whisky, Japan’s equivalent of a blend of single malts. This was unlike any whisky I’ve had so far – almost as smooth as a liquor, clear tasting for such a dark drink.
Me: smooth, clean, comfortable
Katherine: light, fruity, almost watery
Try it? Not worth restaurant price. Buy it? Very nice for enjoying at home.
