Speyside BattleScotch! The budget conscious McClelland’s Speyside, a line we love, up against the allegedly more prestigious aged Aberlour.
Matt’s idea was to pit two known quantity Speysides against each other as a way to calibrate how budget the budget single malt really is. What are you not getting from it that you might get from a more expensive scotch? Does the difference in taste justify the difference in price?Apparently, at least a little. Here’s what we thought:
